Christmas presents 2018

I wanted to share these items that I made for this christmas
so you could see what I have been making while I have been quite on here..
I have not been card crafting as I lost the mojo for it... also lots my crochet mojo too
but I think that is because I have been using material instead.

The craft shop I worked at as many of you know closed down at the back end of 2017
I started working somewhere else but soon found it was not for me and
as I have always tried to be positive and tell people my son included

As one door closes another opens and sometimes where you least expect it...

My Zipper on my Boots broke and I went to the show menders who told me that Yes we can repair them... £20 per zip... as you can imagine I thought well I would have to get both done... OR NOT £40? may as well buy a new pair of boots...

but hang on its only the pull that's bust maybe the sewing shop will sell zipper pulls?

so off I go and sure enough they do they sell EVERYthing...
I kinda know the lady in there as when I was working in the craft shop we used to send people up to them sometimes even ringing to ask if they have certain items...

So anyway she asked how I am and I say ok but sad about the craft shop and the job i had been offered was not to my liking and she said

Oh!
Well why don't you come and work here?

I was like wait WHAT....... 😮😮😮

OHHHH YES PLEASE!!!!

So I have been working there since...
there is sooooo so much to learn yes I could sew and have a machine but wow
all the stock!

anyway I am getting there still so much to learn and remember but I think I am somewhere on the score sheet now...

so if you are still with me these are some of my makes...

I make a couple of extra panettones  every year and gift 2 of them to people
I think have been selfless or have acted selflessly during the year.
This is a friend Karen whom is always thinking of others and is always ready to help and puts everyone else before herself.. Thank you Karen for being you!

The Next one goes to a mutual friend of my husband and I.
My husband had a little mishap on his motorbike in the works carpark on black ice
and this friend had been helping my husband get to and from work and also car sharing while he recovers.

I think I have cracked the French macarons

My son is a  barista trainer and made me a lovely coffee to show off my macarons

I also tried my hand at Italian Macaroons this year
my Husband is Sardinian so I had a lot to live up to and he said I nailed them!
yay!
